Nominated for Justice of the Peace for Jefferson Co. Jan 6 (p. 116); Feb. 7 (p. 305, Home Journal 1820) Petition from William Casey, Joseph Jordan, and Barton Atchison, county commissioners fro Jeff. Moved to GA by 1794; to Smith Co. TN by 1810; to Jeff. CO., IL by 1817. Winnefred executrix of estate in 1807. In War of 1812 from TN. Came from Georgia to Moore's Prairie in 1816.
